... is coming to Redondo Beach September 3-5, 2010.
This summer Nintendo invited players of all ages and backgrounds across the country to get up and get playing through Wii Games: Summer 2010 events. These events spanned 24 markets across the nation, conducting local tournament competitions and offering up ways for general consumers to join in the fun. Lucky for us, the final event will be culminating right here in Redondo Beach at the national championship, Sept. 3rd-5th.

Tuesday, September 7, 2010, the Redondo Beach City Council will introduce an Ordinance concerning the future of overnight parking of oversized vehicles in Redondo Beach. The new language restricts the parking of oversized vehicles on public streets between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM Monday through Friday.

Due to program budget constraints, there will be a limited number of Fee Waivers (60) issued for the Afterschool Playground Program for the 2010-11 school year. Once the limit has been reached, applicants can apply for a Dream Come True Scholarship (DCT), which awards $100 per child, per year. Afterschool Playground Registration will begin August 16th and will continue throughout the year.
