The City of Redondo Beach is committed to promoting fair housing to the community. All renters and home seekers are entitled to receive equal treatment, regardless of the following: race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status or age. 

The City contracts with the Housing Rights Center (formerly known as the Westside Fair Housing Council), a nonprofit organization that helps educate the public about fair housing laws and to investigate reported cases of housing discrimination. The Housing Rights Center (HRC) is a long-established organization, dedicated to promoting fair housing for all.

MEDIATION SERVICES

Dispute Resolution: The City contracts with Choice Mediation. Persons who need mediation services related to Landlord/Tenant issues in Redondo Beach may use the service, free of charge.  For more information about Choice Mediation or to obtain information about landlord/tenant rights in Redondo Beach, phone the Housing Office at (310) 318-0635.
