• $1,650.00 minimum charge - Includes the first 150 people*
• $3.75 for each additional person up to 300 people

  *Additional fees assessed and invoiced at conclusion of the event, i.e. property damage, cleaning fee, etc.

• Tables and Chairs $ 72 (accommodations for 100 people)
• Use of the Kitchen: $ 33.00
• Additional Hours (as applicable): $ 110.00

• Reservations are made up to one year in advance
• No refunds or date exchanges once payment has been made
• **Credit Card Fees are non-refundable**

General Seaside Lagoon Rules and Regulations:

• Parents MUST supervise their children and are responsible for all behaviors and activities
  • At least 1 adult chaperone (18+) for every 8 minors must be present at all times
• The Seaside Lagoon is for RECREATIONAL USE ONLY during seasonal operations
  • The Lagoon is NOT to be used by an individual, club, or organization for means of making a profit
    • Please inquire about making a reservation for our Off-Season months
  • NO ALCOHOL is permitted at the Seaside Lagoon from 10:00am to 6:00pm while the general public is at the Lagoon
  • NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed for reasons of safety
    • ALL Ice Chests, Bags, and wagons/carts may be SEARCHED by Seaside Lagoon staff for ALCOHOLIC beverages or GLASS
  • NO SMOKING is permitted at any time at the Seaside Lagoon
    • Ordinance No. 3029-08 prohibits smoking in beaches and recreation areas
  • NO DIVING from Islands
  • NO SWIMMING after sundown, or at the time when Supervising Lifeguards deems it unsafe to be in the water
  • NO TRASH is to be left on lawns by patrons. Please use trashcans located throughout the Lagoon
  • NO PERSONAL BARBECUES or TABLES are permitted at the Seaside Lagoon
  • NO LOUD RADIOS allowed
    • Please keep volume low; Volume should not extend beyond your group’s location
  • NO PETS allowed inside the Seaside Lagoon
  • NO RIDING of Bikes, Skateboards, Skates or Rollerblades inside the Seaside Lagoon
    • Please lock up bikes in designated areas
  • NO SOCCER BALLS or FOOTBALLS allowed
    • Other toys and games are allowed and must be kept near your group’s location and should not impede on those near your group
  • NO DISORDERLY OR DISCOURTEOUS BEHAVIOR
    • No Profanity, Fighting, or Throwing of Rocks or Sand
  • NO TENTS, Easy-Ups, canopies, or tarps.
    • Umbrellas ARE permitted (with or without weighted bases)  
  • Swimmers MUST wear APPROPRIATE swim attire and remain clothed at all times
    • SWIM DIAPERS are required for those still in diapers while in the water
    • NO FACE MASKS or snorkels; Only regular goggles allowed
  • All use of rafts, flotation vests, or other floating objects MUST REMAIN SHORESIDE OF ROPED AREA

Failure to comply with all rules listed above may result in removal from the park without refund.

LUAU SHELTER RESERVATIONS Rules and Regulations:

• NO SWIMMING is allowed after sundown, or at the time when the Supervising Lifeguards deems it unsafe to be in the water.
  • Swimming before or after operational hours requires advance notice and approval.
• There shall be NO SWIMMING FOR ANYONE once there is alcohol served.
• Music is restricted to the Luau Shelter area of the Seaside Lagoon and amplification, if any, is to be such that the noise is not audible outside of the park area.
• Amplified sound requires approval by the Redondo Beach Police Department.
  • Any approved NOISE AMPLIFICATION, INCLUDING MICROPHONES, MUST CEASE AT 9:00PM.
  • Violation of 4-32.03 of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code can be ticketed in the amount of $98 (fees are subject to change).
• The Lifeguard Supervisor will have the final approval on the placement of the speakers. Use of public address system is at the sole discretion of the Lifeguard Supervisor. LIVE BANDS WITH AMPLIFICATION ARE NOT PERMITTED.
• Private functions held at the Seaside Lagoon are not open to the general public and should not be advertised as such.
• The person responsible for the party should check in with the Lifeguard Supervisor at the beginning and again at the end of the party to inspect the facility.
• All guests, caterers, deejays, etc. must be out of the Lagoon by the indicated closing time or an overtime fee will be imposed.
• If alcohol is to be sold or consumed, an Alcoholic Beverage Permit must be applied for and obtained in advance from the City.
• Patrons are responsible for set-up of tables and chairs. At conclusion of the party, they must be put back the way they were found.
• Any picnic tables moved by patrons must be returned to original positions.
• Kitchen and sink area must be left in the same condition as found.
  • The area should be left in the same condition as found. Patrons not following these rules may be denied future Seaside Lagoon rentals and will be billed for staff time for any clean-up remaining.
• The Seaside Lagoon Manager or their designated representative must approve all applications for day or night parties.
• The Community Services Department reserves the right to deny any activity which, in its judgment, would overextend the park's capacity and/or be a detriment to public safety and welfare.
