Large Groups and Fieldtrips


Planning a fieldtrip at the Seaside Lagoon?

 
Schools, Camps, and Large Groups (50+ guests) can plan a day of fun in the sun at the Seaside Lagoon!
 
All Schools, Camps, and Large Groups MUST pre-purchase their entry tickets.

*Make sure to review all Rules and Regulations for the Seaside Lagoon and BBQ Reservations
"General" and "Picnic Area" Rules and Regulations are provided at the bottom of the page.

All Schools, Camps, and Large Groups MUST follow Seaside Lagoon's Supervision Requirement. 
1 Adult (18+) for every 8 Children


Reservations can be made up to 1 week in advance.
*Please plan ahead - No Walk-Ins will be allowed for Large Groups/Camps - Must prepay for your group/camp

**A 3% Credit Card Fee will be added at processing**

Schools, Camps, and Large Groups qualify for the Group Rate (only available on Weekdays)
$ 6 per Child (ages 2-17)
$ 7 per Adult (ages 18+)
*Must have 1 Adult chaperon for every 8 Children

*Payment needs to be received in order for your group to access
the Lagoon and all sales are final with no refunds/credits.
**If the expected headcount is exceeded on the day of your visit/fieldtrip,
groups may pay for up to 40 additional entry tickets at the main window. 


Parking:
Buses will be charged $12 with a Seaside Lagoon Validation Stamp

Requests will be honored in the order in which it is received. Please fill out the information provided to ensure you do not need to resubmit your fieldtrip request. If you have any questions or concerns, please email seaside.lagoon@redondo.org.


 
Rules and Regulations
GENERAL Rules and Regulations

General Seaside Lagoon Rules and Regulations:

  • Parents MUST supervise their children and are responsible for all behaviors and activities
    • At least 1 adult chaperone (18+) for every 8 minors must be present at all times
  • The Seaside Lagoon is for RECREATIONAL USE ONLY during seasonal operations
    • The Lagoon is NOT to be used by an individual, club, or organization for means of making a profit
      • Please inquire about making a reservation for our Off-Season months
  • NO ALCOHOL is permitted at the Seaside Lagoon from 10:00am to 6:00pm while the general public is at the Lagoon
  • NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed for reasons of safety
    • ALL Ice Chests, Bags, and wagons/carts may be SEARCHED by Seaside Lagoon staff for ALCOHOLIC beverages or GLASS Containers.
  • NO SMOKING is permitted at any time at the Seaside Lagoon
    • Ordinance No. 3029-08 prohibits smoking in beaches and recreation areas
  • NO DIVING from Islands
  • NO SWIMMING after sundown, or at the time when Supervising Lifeguards deems it unsafe to be in the water
  • NO TRASH is to be left on lawns by patrons. Please use trashcans located throughout the Lagoon
  • NO PERSONAL BARBECUES or TABLES are permitted at the Seaside Lagoon
  • NO LOUD RADIOS allowed
    • Please keep volume low; Volume should not extend beyond your group’s location
  • NO PETS allowed inside the Seaside Lagoon
  • NO RIDING of Bikes, Skateboards, Skates or Rollerblades inside the Seaside Lagoon
    • Please lock up bikes in designated areas
  • NO SOCCER BALLS or FOOTBALLS allowed
    • Other toys and games are allowed and must be kept near your group’s location and should not impede on those near your group
  • NO DISORDERLY OR DISCOURTEOUS BEHAVIOR
    • No Profanity, Fighting, or Throwing of Rocks or Sand
  • NO TENTS, Easy-Ups, canopies, or tarps.
    • Umbrellas ARE permitted (with or without weighted bases)  
  • Swimmers MUST wear APPROPRIATE swim attire and remain clothed at all times
    • SWIM DIAPERS are required for those still in diapers while in the water
    • NO FACE MASKS or snorkels; Only regular goggles allowed
  • All use of rafts, flotation vests, or other floating objects MUST REMAIN SHORESIDE OF ROPED AREA

Failure to comply with all rules listed above may result in removal from the park without refund.

PICNIC AREA Rules and Regulations
Rules and Regulations for PICNIC AREA Reservations:

  • Proof of reservation must be provided upon entering the facility
    • Please bring your city issued receipt as proof of purchase
    • Same day reservations may be made in-person and are subject to availability
  • This purchase is ONLY to reserve the Picnic Table area. Patrons must purchase admission to enter the facility
    • Entry Tickets can be purchases online when booking the reservation or in person at the Lagoon
  • Seaside Lagoon will not hold tickets or let patrons in without proof of paid admission
  • The Party Host should check in with the Lifeguard Supervisor at the beginning and end of the party to inspect the facility
  • BBQ Table Reservation time is from 10:00am to 5:00pm
    • All guests must be out of the Lagoon by the indicated closing time or an overtime fee will be imposed
      • Charged $55.00 per 15-minute increment over
  • NO Tents allowed. Easy-ups or pop-up canopies/tarps are not permitted
    • Umbrellas are allowed (with or without weighted base)
  • Any picnic tables moved by patrons must be returned to original positions
  • Party Host should ensure the BBQ, Table and Surrounding Area is left in clean and orderly condition
    • Ensure all decorations are removed and trash in put in designated trash containers
    • Check out with staff to confirm that everything is clean and orderly prior to leaving the premises
      • Patrons not following these rules may be denied future Seaside Lagoon rentals and will be charged $110.00 if clean-up is needed
