Bill Workman has served as Redondo Beach's City Manager since January 2005.  He reports directly to the Mayor and City Council Members as the Chief Administrative Officer managing the day-to-day operations of the City pursuant to the City Charter.  During the course of his 30 year public management career, he has developed expertise in public finance & budgeting, organizational development, environmental protection, economic development and strategic planning.  Bill has BA and MPA degrees.  The focus of his work is to carry out the policy direction of the City Council in building a healthy Redondo Beach community, economy, environment and organization.
