The purpose of the Historic Context Statement is to develop a sound understanding of the major themes of Redondo Beach history, with special attention to the development of the built environment.

This Archeological Research and Site Identification survey includes sites and artifacts related to the Redondo's history from the origins of the community to and including 1946.

This 1986 Survey includes the City's original townsite and adjacent areas to the south.  Included are structures, sites and artifacts related to the Redondo's history from the origins of the community to and including 1946.

This 1996 Survey was designed to supplement the 1986 investigations and provide the City of Redondo Beach with data complementing the date presenting earlier.  Areas north of 190th Street/ Anita Avenue (North Redondo), areas located east of the 1986 study, and some isolated areas location the southern portion of the City are included.

Redondo Beach has published "A Photographic Collection of Historic Landmark Properties".  Check with the Planning Department for availability.
