Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center

The Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, an exquisitely renovated 1,457 seat theater, is the cultural destination for the South Bay's artists and audiences.  A state-of-the-art facility, clients and patrons alike enjoy the best amenities and a knowledgeable, friendly staff.  In addition to hosting a myriad of community and privately produced concerts, recitals and special events, the Performing Arts Center has three prestigious resident companies:

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities
RBPAC is proud to be called home to the largest producing musical theatre company in Southern California, the Ovation Award-winning Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities.  RBPAC's official Resident Musical Theatre Company will present Kiss Me Kate and Cinderella to complete their 2007 Season.  Their 2008 Season will offer Twice Upon A Time (world premier), Miss Saigon, Bye Bye Birdie, and Fiddler On The Roof.

Distinguished Speaker Series
RBPAC is honored to host the Distinguished Speaker Series, which has presented such dignitaries as Margaret Thatcher, Tom Brokaw, Walter Cronkite, Colin Powell, and Madeleine Albright.  Their 2007-08 Season features former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, presidential advisor David Gergen, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, comedian/philanthropist  Bill Cosby, journalists Lisa Ling and Charlie Rose, and Emmy Award-winning news anchor/journalist Chris Wallace.

Los Angeles Ballet
RBPAC welcomes the first professional ballet company to the Los Angeles area in 25 years!  Having completed their first full season to universal critical acclaim, Los Angeles Ballet announces their new season, including their newly choreographed holiday classic The Nutcracker, plus classic works by Balanchine and Bournonville, as well as several world premiers.

 
Webby Dance Company Recital - June 29, 2008
Webby Dance Company The children's dance studio presents "It's a Small World", its 2008 recital on Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 PM.  For information, please call (562) 987-0021.

Aloha Falsetto Festival - July 13, 2008
Aloha Falsetto Festival Mitchell Chang and Kala Koa Entertainment present the premier names in Hawaiian Falsetto music, including Raiatea Helm, Steven Espaniola, Hoku Zuttermeister, Ryan Souza, Aunty Geri Brigoli and more!  Hawaiian merchandise on sale beginning at 11:00 AM, the show starts at 2:00 PM.  For info, CLICK HERE.
