Bridges: Counseling Program for Beach Cities Adults

Our Bridges Program provides counseling services to adults who live in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach or Redondo Beach through a Beach Cities Health District grant.

The Projects seventy licensed therapists counsel a diverse range of problems using a brief therapy model. Clients are typically seen for counseling once a week. The Project will provide 18 counseling sessions for Bridges participants. Upon completion of 18 sessions, clients will need to terminate or continue with their therapist by paying privately.

If you are interested in our Bridges Program, you must call the Project to arrange for counseling. The Project will conduct an assessment to determine your eligibility and make a referral to one of our licensed therapists. The services that may be included are: individual, family or couples counseling; crisis intervention; and parent education. If it is determined that long term therapy is needed, we will provide referrals to other counseling agencies in the South Bay who have the ability to provide low cost therapy for a longer period of time.

Fees for counseling are based on a persons ability to pay. The Project staff will determine with you how much you can contribute toward the cost of counseling.

For further information call the Project at (310) 372-7724 or (310) 372-1171 ext. 3457.
