State of the City Address Presented by Mayor Jim Light

On Thursday, May 9, 2024, Mayor Jim Light will present the State of the City at two events. The first presentation, sponsored by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, will be at 7:30 AM to be held at Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina Hotel, 300 N. Harbor Dr. Tickets are $45.00 for Chamber members and $65.00 for non-members. Registration is required through the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce website (redondochamber.org).

Later that same day, the second presentation will be a community event at 6:00 PM to be held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd. This community presentation is free to attendees.

This is Mayor Jim Light’s first State of the City presentation. He was appointed to fill in the late Mayor Bill Brand’s term ending in March 2025.
