City Mission Statement
The City of Redondo Beach is committed to providing the finest services to enhance the quality of life for those
who live, work, visit and play in our community.

The Mayor and Council are the elected representatives of the residents of Redondo Beach. They formulate policy, enact laws, promote community interests and implement programs and services that enhance the quality of life for those who live, work, visit and play in the City.

The Mayor is elected at large and one Council Member is elected from each of the Five Council Districts. The Mayor and Council also sit as members of the Successor Agency to the Former Redevelopment Agency, Parking Authority, Public Financing Authority and Housing Authority. Council Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. held at the Council Chambers at 415 Diamond Street (Calendar).  Click to view City Council Agendas and Minutes.

The Mayor and Council Members are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk's office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the elected officers may be obtained by visiting the City Clerk’s office, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach.

The Mayor and Council have created a Three-Year Strategic Plan to carry out the mission of the City. The Strategic Plan establishes the major goals and objectives for the City. It provides the principal guidance for the preparation of the City budget, program objectives and performance measures. The goals provide the basis for improving services and preserving a high quality of life in the City.
